Steer angle sensor

Post by Kenclarke » Wed Apr 27, 2022 6:04 pm

Was getting the amber 4x4 light on dash so read codes with Delphi. Was pointing to steer angle sensor. Got another steer angle sensor (used) and fitted and calibrated. But as soon as I turn steering wheel the amber light comes on again and faults reappear. Could it be a dodgy angle sensor I’ve fitted or something else. The actual fault messages are

Have you got the error code (usually a letter/number string) that goes with each? The code might offer a chance to identify whether the issue is wiring, you have a bad used sensor, or something else.

There is a yaw sensor under centre comsole apparently too that creates a similar error ,might be worth a read of this see if it applies to your problem :D
