Problem BMW app

Post by kenniff » Sat Apr 02, 2022 12:10 pm

So, no “problem” forum for the G05, guess they don’t have problems :)

My new X5 seems to have one though. The BMW app says its unlocked and the bonnet is open. It’s not. It’s definitely locked and the bonnet is definitely shut.

Opening and closing the bonnet made no difference, even when shut “forcefully”. Guessing there’s a dodgy sensor somewhere under the bonnet and because its showing as open the car says unlocked. Any one had this before? Is it time for a trip to the dealer?
Thanks in advance

My f15 says it’s unlocked, but it’s locked, so could well be an another glitch with the latest version of the app

Problem BMW app

There have been issues reported all over with the latest BMW App. I’ve seen issues on other forums too. Some suggest removing the app and starting again, others just removing the vehicle and re-adding it. Whatever BMW have done, pre-release testing or lack thereof may be at the heart of it. I’ve seen these issues on my 2-series, sometimes for several days, and then all is fine again. It’s random as to what and when :x :headbang:
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
