hi i cant find it on a search so whats the best engine oil to use on my lci 40d please ?

I use Castrol Edge 5W30. Must be a fully synthetic that meets BMW LL04 (Long-life) and ACEA C3. You can use 0w30 as well. Most dealers use the Castrol oils as standard. You’ll need 2 4-litre cans for an oil change.

Any LL04 is fine , id rather change it every 10k rather than wait for the service light as oil is cheaper than timing chains :rofl: :thumbsup:

Not cheap if more expensive than Bmw , I checked back £17.80 posted last April , It's £19.64 now maybe old stock plus post (£2.99) , dealer I use is 55 mile away so cheaper to get it posted with price of fuel now won't get to end of road on 3 quid :driving: :thumbsup:
