Hey guys, I have a 2015 X1 with a PDC fault, where all sensors seem to be out of commission.
Before tackling jobs like removing panels as it have broken plastics written all over it. Are there any good write-ups / videos on the forum for how to remove the bumpers?
Thanks in advance.

The front sensors don’t need the bumper off apart from left centre. Screws at top (4) and bottom (9) all need to come off Sides are got to via the wheel arches and front right via the trim panels below the fog lights.
Wheel arch trim removal. Rear sensors can all be accessed from underneath and below the bumper - but mind the exhaust (if hot).
PDC control unit is behind the right rear trim panel in the boot so you’ll need to remove that too.

Hey pal, thanks for taking the time and showing this. IN regards to removal of the bumpers , take it can be done with with wheels on, but is it ones of those jobs its much easier to take the extra 15 mins to support the vehicle on axle stands and removal wheels?X5Sport wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 11:10 am The front sensors don’t need the bumper off apart from left centre. It probably can as long as your tools can get to everything whilst the wheels are on - I’m thinking wheel arch splash guards. There’s often not a huge amount of gap between wheel and wing. If you have ‘dumpy’ tools then it should be fine. One of those ‘it depends’ jobs I guess.
