Tyres shortage 😐

Post by sapphireblack » Mon Oct 11, 2021 11:40 am

There's currently a serious shortage it seems. Been looking on Camskill and Oponeo. Started looking at all season, specifically Vredestein, none.

Moved to winters, looked at all brands and can't make a set from anywhere of my brand choices.

I've put the surplus rims on sales corner already.

I thought there were issues as various sizes seem to be out of stock. All made overseas so trouble getting them transported here I guess? The 19" sizes I can still only find one size that's approved but can't make a set out of even the unapproved options. :-(

I need a normal pair on the 2-er so may need to get on with that too.

Yes perhaps, but there have been no Vredesteins all year when I've looked 🙂

I think these sites go up and down in price... I have actually found Kwikfit to be competitive the last few times I have been. Depending on the dealer they often beat prices I can get online.
