Mine’s Draper 3T and cost £170 so may be a bit more than you wanted to spend. I think SGS Engineering were pretty good value for a very similar one, and about £80(?) cheaper too….. I only found them after I had mine.

Yes SGS for me, a 2 ton trolleyjack for £34 delivered.

SGS it is then.
The low profile version of the 3T is about £36 more. Any reason to need a low profile on any SUV?

2T ok on SUV?

I went with 3T simply for safety and the physical size of the jacking ‘cup’ that allows me to put the correct adapter to fit the car jacking points on it. If you are only jacking 1 corner then 2T is fine, for one end off the ground I personally just wanted that little bit more capacity.
EDIT: it also raises the X6 to a good height that my 2T one struggles to. See message below which prompted my edit.

2 ton ones tend to be light duty and have a low final height which will possibly be too low for a 4x4 , 3 ton far more stable and higher lift but at the expense of being much heavier .My Sealey 3 ton is around 35kg so you won't carry it far lol

I want for a 2.5T low profile one, same price as the 3T version . I thought the 33kg weight is a bit easier on the back than 40kg of the 3T

Yes the weight of the things is an issue but the 3 tonners are solidly built I have an old Omega one 20 plus years now and it has about 1/4 steel plate sides The newer Sealey one has super rocket lift which lifts to the sill in 1 or 2 pumps which is great

SGS 2.5T low profile delivered. I almost did my back in carrying it to the shed
