I’ve noticed that when rolling along with drivers window opened with hardly any engine noise I can hear a swooshing noise coming from the rear wheel area which gets faster as the wheel speed increases
Once the engine revs slightly picks up I cannot hear the noise at all so very faint
Any suggestions what to have a look at as the tyre appears all ok or could it be a sticky tyre noise
Cheers col

Dragging disc would be my thought, especially if it’s warped (which can happen with ventilated discs). See if that hub feels a little warmer than any others after a short while.

Found it today apparently the metal is breaking up in the run flat tyre so needs replacing

I'm intrigued about how you found that out too. How old is the tyre?

Is the wire sticking out the inside edge of the tyre is all I can think off ?
