BMW wheel bolt torque wrench

Post by sapphireblack » Wed Apr 07, 2021 11:16 pm

I had no idea these were available, a fixed 140Nm wrench. On my shopping list now but maybe find a Heyco supplier?

Local Heyco distributor is trade only and they didnt suggest a retail source, so £28.66 from local main dealer, hardly a bargain but makes life a touch easier with wheel changes having the torque fixed.

Delivery on Monday :)

Same price everywhere by the looks of things. BMW shop on eBay has it too. Great find too as I didn’t know such a beast existed either.

Very useful. Happier to have one of those in the car rattling about than my expensive torque wrench and case.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Echoes my thoughts. Carrying a full on wrench just for wheel bolts has always seemed OTT to me. Not the cheapest solution but a dedicated one thats pre-set makes life a bit easier when the need may arise.

But you looked twice, realised it wasn't 1/4/21 and thought, that looks good, i'll buy one.

I thought we may get a group buy sorted but postage is probably prohibitive regardless. Committed to one now anyway :)

Collected an hour or so ago, nothing to get excited about but well made and the socket is interchangeable, should 140Nm apply to anything else but needing a different size. :)
