This is the only one I know of. Expensive but highly rated.

The Bentley Manual only covers the Petrol models. I've been looking for a Diesel E53 book for a couple of years but there does not seem to be one. I'm not techie enough, or a good enough Author to have a go - and my wife would slaughter me if I took her car to bits!! I ended up with a copy of the BMW TIS from the right year. It's not perfect, but if you use Realoem alongside it, it does help a little (once you've figured the German logic behind it) - and there's always the folks on here too.............

good point - the other thing is you can buy a subscription to TIS. http://www.bmwtis.com/ but that is bloody expensive. I have done the daily subscription in the past and downloaded as much as I needed. But it is not Ideal.

Note that these are the Owners Manuals from various years but not the Service/Repair Manuals. If you've not got an Owners Manual, then very useful
