how to fit hedgehog unit to my bmw x5 e53 3.0d

can anyone tell me where it is on my modal and how to fit it please with photo's if you can thankyou.

You do not need to remove half of that stuff i have done this job several times. remove the panel above the pedals then remove the panel on the left of the concole where the gearstick is it is the one with carpet on it. now lie on your back with your head down at the break pedal using a light you will see where the part is located and you will see the clip holding it in try and remember what way you remove it so you are not putting the new fsu in upside down its a 10 minute job the first time i done it i took a load of panels off then realised there was no need for all of them to come off so the second time i done it 2 panels is all i took off and had it changed in 10 or 15 minutes.

Essentially my guide describes removal of the same 2 pieces albeit I stated I was unsure re trim surrounding the release catch, (I did the job a while ago). Ducting fell away as I lowered the top trim & thus removal & refit was consequential.
