I chose Carly simply because it covers models from before 2008.

I'm new to this coding game. Will one of these be OK with the appropriate app? Just in case I need to code in the LED lamps...

Carly isn’t very good with the more modern cars (eg 2019 x5)
BimmerCode is but expensive for an adapter that will do everything...

I shall be going for the bimmercode. The adaptor featured will do what I need.
