Factory wheel colours all styles

Post by sapphireblack » Fri Dec 04, 2020 8:29 am

Hopefully not too boring to read but is there a colour chart of all BMWs wheel colours?

I am familiar with Ferric and Orbit grey, and the general silver though i think theres several of those.

Specifically i dont know what type 435 colour is. It has a purple/blue-ish hue. I had a set though sold them but never knew the factory colour reference.

The original Ferric grey, paint code A80, is grey with a bluey/purpley tinge.

Interesting! I thought i knew Ferric Grey, maybe I've been misinformed?

As best i recall the refurb businesses I've visited previously only had a flat silver or sparkle silver. What i was advised was Ferric, plus Orbit and various anthracite shades and black.

Other than refinishing in gloss black, selling the wheels after all may just be easier and ill stay with a summer and winter set. My all season desires seem to be generating a bit of unwanted hassle.

For continuity;- the newer, more "pure", Ferric grey paint code is B55. It's actually called Ferric grey II.
