Lights

Always used the lights on automatic and worked fine but today they arent working, lights come on on normal light switch but nothing on auto, any ideas please

Check the sensor on the windscreen in front of the mirror mount against the windscreen itself (best viewed from outside). It may have failed and isn’t sending a low light signal to the car light control module. It could also be that if the ‘sensor window’ fogs up that may have confused the system.

Is the battery ok could be a battery saving thing and it's getting that time of the year for batteries to start to fail.
That's my best thought.

Thanks, gave the windscreen a good clean and it seems fine so hopefully alls ok

Can be very sensitive to the dust/dirt on the screen (as you’ve appeared to have seen) bit otherwise as Richard states could the sensor itself playing up.
