[quote=""bwg""]Hey guys! hope I haven't insulted anyone with my comment regarding age!
I was really referring to my personal situation. I hate not using a car to its full potential, the X5 was just sitting on the road most of the time. Our baby is due december, so there will be allot more car action then, and we will have more kids in the near future as well, so I'll be buying another X in a few years to accommodate all the truck that goes with 2+ kids. The 3er suits us fine for now though. I realise everyones situation is different/ have kids at different stages of life/ find success sometimes early, sometimes late in life. Its like buying a house, the best time to buy a house is simply when you can and want to, ignore all other factors.
So, as you all rightly say, there is no age limit for buying an X5, just when you need, and or want one. The way my life has panned out, I will 'need' one when I'm about 40, but I 'want' one now! Sadly, thanks to the pesky recession, I'll have to wait. But I'll never forget my x-X!
And as for the demographic, maybe its just where I live, loads of smart 4x4s, mostly driven by mums on the school run (they are mostly E70s), and they all seem to me to be around the 40 mark. However, as Chompers rightly pointed out, the X has been out a while now, most can afford something with an X5 badge, and enthusiasts always buck the trend, so I must correct my self on that one, and learn not to make sweeping statements!
Long live the X5 drivers young and old!

.... I don't think anything is ever taken too seriously on here anyway which is what makes it a great forum to be a part of,we all have our (sometimes)different opinions but that makes interesting threads.
