central locking issue

Hi guys after some advice if possible, got the X3 e83 2.5i sport, central locking was working fine off the fobb then it stopped and even when i use the key in the door it only locks and unlocks driver door? there is a sound coming from the doors when i press the fobb but no locking? also the door locking button on the dash is not working. any ideas anyone?

Possibly a low battery in the fob or you could try disconnecting the battery (both pos &neg) for 20 minutes neg off first and on last....it might reset it...

Did you try the spare key always worth a go ?

As above fob battery.
Try a second key if you have one but the battery could well be gone in that one as well.
