Air suspension

Post by Ben Morris » Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:19 am

Bmw x5 e70 2009. After some help please.!!
I had a leaking rear air bag. Turns out both had leaks and were changed along with a faulty compressor. Only two days after getting my car back and the suspension has gone down completely over night. Has anyone else had similar problems and what was the cause.

As the main parts of the system have been changed its likely there is a leak at one of the connections to the bags or compressor so some soapy water will be needed to find it. Check the level sensors are still attached too as they can pop off.

I'd check the connections as mentioned as that is the most likely issue. Otherwise perhaps the sensor arms when the bags were fitted have been broken etc.
