Boost pressure
Boost pressure
Hi all, I'm about to install a boost gauge after my re-map.can anyone tell me the standard boost pressure for a 2010 e70 x5m? And maybe roughly what pressure should be after the autowerx map? Many thanks, cheers.shotgun.
Re: Boost pressure
You might find something in newtis, but most likely it will be a set value in the BMW Diagnostics software. Not many X5M owners in here and I’ve never seen mention of an Autowerx remap. Can’t they tell you themselves?

Re: Boost pressure
Id think the boost won't have changed much if any , more power is got by putting in more fuel mostly.
Must be a proper beast now though ![Driving :driving:](./images/smilies/smilie_driving.gif)

Re: Boost pressure
555bhp as standard,610 after the map. The boost pressure is turned up which is why I'm asking what the standard boost is. I will ring the mapper on monday.
Re: Boost pressure
I was thinking after and your right for petrols the boost is raised as they need to run at a certain air/fuel ratio but for diesels they mostly just get the fuel pressure turned up
