Do you guys have engine opionions as to which engine Is the most reliable. Would it be the 30d M57?

well the sd above has 330k and still going Not sure who would really want it though it would be very difficult to sell on now unless really cheap to take a chance on as there is surely bother in the near future.

I got 2009 3.0D, done 105K so far. no complains about engine or gearbox, rest is different story though.

apart from normal service etc following failed in my ownership since 2016
AC blower
AC speed resistor
Suspension Airbags
AC Condenser
SOS warning
Front suspension arms

and more recent ones
Parking brake failure/ seized
Radiator fan failed
EGR thermostat broken like it was made of clay
