Bluetooth and SOS

Post by MarkCol79 » Sat May 16, 2020 6:05 pm

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2009 3.0 SD.

When trying to get bluetooth working/activated, I am unable to tick the bluetooth box via the iDrive menu, so consequently unable to pair my phone.

Coupled with this is the SOS fail.

Am I right in thinking these two issues are linked?

Is there anything I can do before hunting a new module out?

Cheers!

Are any existing pairings still stored? Might be a capacity issue caused by the limit being hit.

It would be worth checking the build sheet to see what’s on the car and getting the error code store read out. Saves you chasing the wrong issue.
