Loss of power

Post by Tony26364 » Sat Feb 08, 2020 5:25 am

:sos: I'm suffering a loss of power and heavy black smoke from rear. Having looked at the intake hoses I've found the pipe from the air box to the turbo is loose I've fitted a jubilee clip but it will still move slightly is this normal? Is there anything else common in that area of the engine as smoke seems to be coming up aswell.

Morning Tony
A bit more information may help the Diesel boys here to help, what engine, what year, how many miles etc.

Could be a lot of things or a number together, split intercooler pipes, could be EGR, could be injector issues or fuel pressure issues.
Have you have the codes read?

Good Luck
