Transfer case oil reset 2007 pre LCI??

Hello all,

I’ve got a July 2007 build, 30D and can’t seem to find if there is a need to do a code reset after changing the transfer case oil?
From what I can see it relates to the Xdrive model, not pre- LCI.
Anyone know for sure?

Not 100% but it think you do a reset on them the old e53 didn't need it but the rest do.
Could well be wrong so hang on for a second opinion.

Had my oil changed at Bmw and had to ask them to reset the fault code which comes on when you have done 100000 miles £79 not to bad

Yeah, all sorted, got it reset using a mates Snap-On code reader.
