Hi All, I just bought this 2012 X5 40d M-Sport. So far I'm liking it a lot. There are a few minor issues that I need to address but overall it's in great condition and all seems good.
One question. Is there any way to find out the build spec to know what options are installed on the car?

Hello and
You can find your ‘as built’ spec with your VIN and using a site such as:
https://decoder.bvzine.com/
or
https://bmwvindecode.com/
some sites want all 17 characters, others just the last 7.
Other useful sites are:
BMW Parts database: Realoem.com (use the last 7 of your VIN to pull up your model.
BMW Technical Instructions (for most models): newtis.info

Unfortunately neither of those accept my VIN. I think they only work with US VINs and mine is UK.

Should be fine as I checked them against my UK VINs.

Doesn't work for mine, either.
