Easy question - is the sound of this car normal or not

Should be relatively easy to answer for those in the know ot those who have a e70 30sd or 35d if the engine / idle noise for this car is normal or not?

Difficult to tell without hearing it live, but I wouldn't say it's any different to any other M57 I remember hearing idling.

Am I missing something? Do you have specific concerns about the health of the engine? As long as it has evidence of regular servicing with invoices to back it up, 66k is nothing for an M57.

They have a nice meaty tickover much like a little lorry engine although some lorries have less power Sounds fine from what I can hear
