Post by wad187 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 11:13 pm

Hi,

Hello,

Almost certainly water has got past the seal, which is prone to breaking down on older cars. Only cure is to fit a new unit - the individual LED cannot be repaired - which will come with a much improved and effective seal. The local BMW body shop charged me £200 three or so years ago when the unit failed on my 2007 E70.

Hope can get it much cheaper than £800!!!!
