Any recommendations?
Re: Any recommendations?
By "front and back" do you men the dual lens type? Or are you after 2 separate units - one front, one rear?

Re: Any recommendations?
Haven’t done a front one but I put one of these number plate rear ones in, good picture and I preferred it to one looking out the back window or those off centre number plate light things

Re: Any recommendations?
I use a Nextbase 512GW for the front and have the rear one to fit in due course, and when I find how to feed the wire through the F46 rear to front. It plugs into the front unit but drops the recording down from 1440 lines to 1080.
I think the front unit was about £130 on a deal and the rear about £50. You can get these things far cheaper but is the video from those good enough when you really need it? Just asking, as I believe the recording data rate is very low due to image compression and you lose detail.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Yes for clarification I meant front and rear. Not sure what a dual lens one is?

Re: Any recommendations?
I've got a NextBase (412GW, IIRC) up front. I had a cheap'n'cheerful unbranded (well, not in any recognisable language) one in the E46 which I keep meaning to attempt to fit on the tailgate of the F25.
Re: Any recommendations?
I have a cheap front and back, front is wired up to Dynavin, shows a good picture which I never really look at, took the sd card out to look at on computer and it’s an even better picture which would clearly show people/number plates which is what you want in a dispute. Rear is WiFi connects to phone but again never looked at other than to check it works. Just let it loop record. Can’t remember costs but definitely under £20 each. Front has been working fine for over 3 years.
