Post by ex4x4 » Wed Aug 21, 2019 10:30 am

Hi - recently registered to this forum after viewing many helpfull posts and articles from here.

Im Alistair - 48yrs maint tech in motor maufacturing company, and home mechanic / tight wad. (I tend to try to repair rather than replace.)
My current daily driver is a 2006 e53 X5 3.0d sport - high miles ( 127k) but running sweet and is my workhorse / family mini bus.
Hope to contribute where ever I can.

Welcome aboard. As for mileage, these things go forever as both my e70 and e53 have over 200,000 miles :)
