I've got a noise coming from my front off side wheel - only really heard it of late when window down, music off
It increases with speed, doesnt change when you ride the brake, and best described as a rubbing or whirring noise
Any thoughts? Wheel bearing maybe?

Noise from front wheel?
Re: Noise from front wheel?
Could well be the wheel bearing but also could be the dirt guard catching.
Best getting it in the air to see what's going on.

Re: Noise from front wheel?
Does the noise vary any as you go round bends or move the steering very slightly as you drive along?

Check the wheel temperature after a run. If one wheel is noticeably warmer than the other on the same axle then it might also be a sticking brake calliper ‘dragging’ rather than releasing fully. It often causes vibration at speed to. Worth eliminating from a wheel bearing - which yours does sound like from the description.
You could also jack that corner up and gently spin the wheel and see if it feels rough (wheel bearing) or has a lot of play in it if you hold it at 12 & 6 o’clock and rock it. It should not move very much but if it does then it’s a sign of a worn or incorrectly adjusted bearing.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
