What's going on?
Couldn't log in, never easy, but refused access. Asked for a password reset, got it but now can't edit my profile as I'm told I must log in to access it. I was!
Re: What's going on?
Cookie problem? Just a guess.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Re: What's going on?
OK I'm gone probably thirty attempts to get to this point, including an attempt to register as a newbie.
The site is hard work, for me anyway.

Have you got any restrictions on cookies in your browser? I’m not having any problems with Safari (iPad) or Firefox (PC & IPad versions). The site uses HTTPS (secure & encrypted) so it may be a case of making sure that is running OK.
Usually the issue you are seeing is cookie related. Have you tried clearing your history and cookies? That will reset all logins and cookies so make sure you remember your passwords!
Try pinging the mods (pvr & AW8) to see what they might know.

Re: What's going on?
Step 1 ....Check cookie setting permits site access...then try to log on again
If issues remain try steps below one at a time....trying to log on each time and after each stage until hopefully sorted.
Clear history
Clear specific site cookies
Clear saved passwords
Add xdrivers.co.uk to trusted site list.
Look at settings on any 3rd party cleaner/security programs ...consider leeaser aggresive settings if you are ok with this.
Make sure your clock/calendar time is correct....odd one but with windows 7 this can occasionally cause certificate &/or access to trusted site issues
Not had any other reports on this.
I don't know enough to advise re clearning cache....am sure someone more nerdy might be able to advise on the pro's and con's etc.
See how you get on. Keep us updated. If that lot doesn't work PM spectre.

Re: What's going on?
After comprehensive intervention by admin, I can now log on again. Quite why it all went so pearshapped I have no idea.
Re: What's going on?
Glad it is working now. Just to add to AW8’s post earlier, another thing to do if you are constantly getting logged out is remove any bookmarks, then re-add once the issue is sorted. I have seen it before where people have a non-https bookmark but are logged into https. When they click the bookmark it logs them out.
