I grew tired very quickly with my first choice of wheels upgrade, a bit blingy for me and non matching greys on the car and wheels was irritating.
So type 336s removed and sold to be replaced with 'teflon black' X6M type 300s. New Continentals added as it seemed sensible and i now really like the look much nicer imo.

That looks excellent. I like the look of the black alloys with the greay car

There are several LRs in my vicinity, Sports, Discovery and seemingly a lot of Evoques, virtually all grey with gloss black highlights adorning them. I like the look and it accelerated my desire to remove 'shiny' elements from my car.
I was originally going gloss black to match other accents on my car but thought gloss wheels were (to me) blingy in a different way. Teflon is a good look, hopefully it will last longer than the diamond cut wheels they've replaced.
