Now if they can cure particulates emmisions with a system that will last the lifetime of the car no matter what the driving style......

Too little and too late I think diesel is near the end as a fuel for cars :(

An unusual thought......
Back in day Petrol was the devils juice until the emission changes aka the catalytic converter.

Diesel has went through similar changes allbeit slower, Euro4,5,6 and now 6b,
Governments are renowned for u turns and this will be A N other event

There is insufficient infrastructure to support plans of electricifying cars let alone the carbon offset from the exhaust to the power plant (which in Britain)

Not to mention the detriment of lithium mining & selective hydro carbon byproduct choices to manufacturer high speed milk floats.....

Allbeit older euro classes will invariably be taxed at higher premiums
