Battery long time charge

Might sound daft but i bought a Yuasa battery for my 30d x5 just over 2 years ago.
Turned out it wasn't needed so it has been sat on the bench in my shed connected to a ctek mxs 5.0 charger ever since.
Does anybody think this battery will still be any good as i need one for my e90 2.0d.
Any opinions grateful.

If it was kept charged up it will be fine , being flat kills batteries .

Never been of charge from about a week or so after i bought it.
Plus it's on the bench and not a concrete floor as i believe that can kill a battery.

It should be fine. As said, it’s flat batteries that die due to the chemical changes. It may not last as long as a brand new one, but you will get several years out of it.

I will fit it later today when number one son get's up(his day off) to carry it up to the car (70 metre's in total) for me.

I don't believe the concrete floors kill batteries unless they picked up damage from a sharp edge , batteries sit on the steel sheet metal of the car which is ground anyway.

Well it's fitted and starting the car with no problem.
Problem i have now is my scanner won't let me change the Ah from 80 and the new/old battery is 900 by 1000 but has registered it as 80 again no option to alter.
Will plug it into a snap-on at weekend and see.

Got that last post a bit wrong with the numbers.
Anyway got an Autel scanner today to try to register the bigger battery but still no joy.
Old battery was the original 80Ah and the new one is 100Ah.
Funny part to look at is the battery history it's had 5 in the last 20 kilometres but i think anybody looking might see i had a few goes
