Farewell X5, it has been fun owning you but time to move on.

Just a quick, and final post, to say that now the caravan is up for sale (see Caravan Talk forum, for sale notices, same ID) and I'm well into retirement I have traded by lovely X5 in for a new Golf Estate, primarily for the two Golden Retrievers and to save dwindling pension!

You have all been really helpful, positive and friendly and I'd like to say thank you for the ride.

Best wishes and keep up the good work on one of the best motor forums on the interweb.

Enjoy your retirement and your golf estate, my wife has a golf hatchback which is and has been a great car, but the boot is only just big enough for our flat coated retriever.

Good luck with the golf estate. Which I gues will be a little different to the old X5
