Today my rear diff went at 125K, should it go at this millage?
I'm thinking of getting a reconditioned one from flee bay;

Rear Diff
Re: Rear Diff
Some have gone earlier than that. Frequently the cause is use of non-star marked tyres but not always. One member with the right tyres had one replaced, and at a lot less miles than you have.
They are hard to find second hand with the right ratios, and expensive new. Kkx5 on here may have some advice as it is his speciality

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: Rear Diff
Thanks x5sport, always used star rated tyres.
I look forward to kkx5's response.
I might as well get the transfer box and gear box oil changed whist the diff is being done.
Luckily I have a car I can use whilst sourcing a diff. There are a few lower ratio diff but mine had to be the higher one didn't it. Maybe cause I have a 7 seater.

**UPDATE**
I got the rear diff from the link above, the chap whose company it is was really good. He talked the mechanic through what needs to be done and what oil he wanted in the diff for warranty purposes . Basically he has up-rated the diff so it's similar to the 2016 version.
I have also had the transfer case fluid done and gearbox oil and filter. I though it'd be best considering the millage, the mechanic said the transfer fluid was black.
I pick up the beast tomorrow!

Re: Rear Diff
All driving well, I ran Carly through and it picked up 54C6 error which is the diff oil change.
This has been done as a new diff was put in, any idea how to reset or delete? Carly is unable to do this.
Also, as I've had the gear box fluid done is it worth resetting the adaptive drive? I think it's posting 1 on ignition and long press on accelerator for 30 secs

Re: Rear Diff
The transfer box needs a reset after oil change.
I think it's a wear sensor.

Re: Rear Diff
How much did this cost you to sort out?
Re: Rear Diff
Diff was £1350 from ebay, it was an up rated and labour was £250
