Headlight replacements

Post by weirdfish » Sun Jan 13, 2019 5:56 pm

As per my other thread, I'll be picking up the 4.6 beast on Wednesday and want to get straight into doing a couple of jobs.
Headlights are very cloudy and require attention, so it's either cleaning or replacing, I'll try cleaning first with kits that have been suggested, but if this fails, or I fail, then what are my options for replacing the complete units.

As a matter of interest what year is the vehicle?
I have a 2002 4.4 which is now fitted with xenon dip and main headlights.
Prior to Dec 2001 the headlights were splitable which is what I did and also cleaned the lenses. have put a photo up on this post Image

Unfortunately the deal didn't go through, the seller was being rather awkward regarding a couple of potential problems that needed sorting prior to vehicle being collected, so I decided to walk away.
The hunt continues, if anyone knows of a 4.6 in estoril blue or silver that's been converted to lpg please let me know.
