I'm contemplating adding some side rubbing strips to an E71, there's no BMW offering i can find so im forced to look elsewhere. These were standard on my E53 and offered decent protection from numpty car parkers who think nothing of swinging their door onto my cars
I see images of E70s with them and wonder if they would fit an E71?
Is any owner willing to measure their door lengths, the trim lengths and the gap on the front door before the trim starts? Measurements needed are below the swage line of course where the trim fits.
An odd request perhaps but hoping someone may oblige, please

Re: Need a favour, E70 owners.
Front door length 107 cm
Front door strip 102 cm
7 cm to start of front door strip
Rear door strip 51.5 cm
Rear door along swage line to curve end 77cm
Trim sits slightly above swage line
Note so self : tape measure edges are very sharp and will make you bleed if not careful
