a little brake upgrade
with my mot fast approaching and my x5 suffering from brake judder time to fit new discs and pads picked up some mtec discs and pads at a good price , when they arrived it was then i found out that my car falls right on the change over period for front brakes being fitted with the smaller 332mm not the larger 356mm i had brought so i opted to change the calipers aswell to upgrade to the bigger brakes , heres a pic showing my old and new discs and a before and after not sure why its flipped the last two pics
need to paint my calipers but cant decide on a colour , the only thing i did find surprising was my old pad that had the wear sensor on it was the most worn pad down to less than 3mm but the sensor was untouched , so how low do the pads need to be before the warning comes on my guess is almost metal to metal Re: a little brake upgrade
A good and worthwhile improvement and Id suggest performance blue like the newer Bmw's have the calipers painted would look nice

Eco Green or maybe a Ford.
Porsche put them on their Hybrid cars
not on a V8 X5, You need anti Green.
Tasty slots. I like those.
