My 2018 F46 Gran Tourer LCI 220d xDrive (B47 engine with Sport Auto) currently giving 46mpg with less than 600 miles on the clock.  It should improve a little bit on that as it runs in (though that may be a few thousand miles).  Journey types are commuting on mixed roads and mixed speeds.

36 on everyday driving 40 on motorway driving on a 2011 SE

Oh my ... Why is ours getting 20mpg?? City driving, heavy traffic mostly... Well... Already answered myself I think. It a 2011 Xdrive35i with 51,000kms on the clock.

Seems like diesels are so economic... Our fuel here is crap... Unless bought new there's no consideration in buying a diesel BMW... Sad

28.5mpg almost all the time, though I did hit 34.0 on a motoway run recently. 3.0D X3 (F25).

10/2003 X5 4.4. 123.000 .miles. 15-17 local .Motorway 28, Maximum I have got is 31.3 thats 44 miles at 56 mph Shell V power fuel :o :D :)
