Replacement wing mirror?

usual story, some kn0b in a van took out my drivers side door mirror

cracked the body coloured cover and the glass

I'm hoping that I can just replace the cover and the glass (rather than full mirror)

any recommendations where to buy from?

Try Realoem for part numbers and then search on line.  I’m pretty certain you can just replace the cover and mirror glass separately.

If you have auto dimming mirrors you may need to sit down when you get a price!  They were scary on the E53 a few years back - which is why there was a spate of just stealing mirror units of those cars.

Cant help where to get replacements but if you have the auto dimming mirrors I have heard the replacement glass is around £300.
