Post by Lincspoacher » Wed Oct 31, 2018 8:44 am

Started yesterday but quickly got louder, sounds like when a kid puts card in there bike spokes, its coming from the top of the drivers side front drive shaft under the centre cover

First thought is a failing Constant Velocity Joint (CVJ) at that end of the shaft.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

As mentioned it could be the CV joint, but als the diff. The fact it is deteriorating so quickly would cause me to get it checked out as a possible as either failing whilst out away from home will result in the car having to be recovered.
Have you got roadside recovery ?
There's been a few members on here had diffs go in the past, so wouldn't want you to be stranded miles from home.
