centre Console Centre locking button

Hi All

Does anyone know of a a way to disable the centre console locking button??

My Dog has stepped on it today and locked me out - Id not removed the keys from the ignition - duh!!!

Can it be disabled somehow ?

if i cut one of the wires on the plug that plugs into the hazard/lock unit - would that work?

You could try unplugging it. You’d loose the illumination when lights on and probably set a fault code.
