After many years of X5 ownership, near 10 years, i defected to an E63 6 series, great car but i never really 'bonded' with it.
Fast forward a few years and earlier today I bought a 35D X6, delivery will be on Monday. By chance it's basically the same exterior colour as the 6er, Space Grey. What's novel for me is the red leather interior, actually 'Chateau'. It's a pre LCI, 2009 car, one owner FBMWSH and done just 29000 miles. Spec is pretty good including soft close doors, comfort seats, HUD, universal remote, DAB, TV, sunroof, DSP sound system and more.
I've not been this excited by a car in some while, roll on Monday. I've still not worked out how to load pictures via a tablet yet but will try and sort that soon.
Anyone interested in a fabulous 630i with very low miles.

Re: Back in an X model
Welcome back to the X Club
That’s a great find too with that low mileage. Should stand you well for many years to come. Was there ever a true LCI E71? There were a few changes in engine, gearbox and ICE but I though that the car stayed the same until the F16 was launched in 2014. It never got LED angel eyes.
But then I suppose that it could be said it didn’t need such gimmicks - unlike the E70....
Popcorn anyone?

LCI?.
I understood the facelifted front models had various upgrades, tho I don't know what aside from Leds and improved i-drive
My car was specd with 19" wheels so some 20"s are under consideration, from what I believe is an LCI model. I've much to learn about the X6

Hi and welcome back.
Congrats on the X6 and look forward to pics esp of the chateau red interior that a good contrast, and seen it on one. Or two X5 most of the time with black.
I think the later X6m's got the led headlights

Re: Back in an X model
In my part of the country the weekends weather has been damp, so no car washing nor picture taking. >:(
So a few images from the selling dealers advertisement. The car is sporting it's 20" wheels now despite it being winter, the 19s just don't look as good

Very nice......and I agree that 19” rims get ‘lost”. I only use that size for winter rubber.
