Inspection II - a major service. But then a Bmw service history may add value to your car. In my case the car has had 2 independent services before I purchased it and it would be pointless going back to Bmw as it’s a 2011 model and any further Bmw history isn’t going add much value.

Thankyou for your kind offer I usually do all my own but just thought it being an expensive beast that I carry on with the full sh. It’s been all Bmw main dealer so far so just thought a good Indy. Been quoted £175 for the oil service from Graham Martin in St Helens.

£175 yikes!!

2 bottles of Castrol Edge from Costco @ £66 and a genuine filter from EBay @ £20 is how I roll. I keep the receipts and stamp my own book.

Although I know that’s not to everyone’s taste but I’ve never struggled to sell a car without garage stamps whilst I’ve owned it and serviced it myself.

Probably better for resale to get it done by bmw dealer but once the car starts to age then many have non-Bmw dealers do it. I bought my 2011 car with 2 non Bmw services on car. Never thought of it any less but a Full Bmw SH would be have been better.

Not sure . I had my other car done and that was £140 for major service so will look at invoice.
I asked for the price for oil service on X5 and got quoted £52 so that’s how it was invoiced. I think they have to put it through till like that as nominal charge so you get charged price quoted. Anyway I’m not complaining. Even on servicingstop the price is £99 for oil service who are the cheapest.
