I have a 2012 X3 3 litre diesel.
How do you tell the power train of the car? i.e. is it an N57, N52 or N55?
TIA
Steve

Almost certainly an N57N series.
If you look on Realoem and use the last 7 of your VIN, it will pull up the correct model for you
N52/N55 are petrol
