You will need to talk to a main dealer assuming your car does not already have it fitted? It’s a thin clear film installed on parts around the rear wheel arches.
Whether they would still do it for you now I cannot say. You should be able to find some mention of it on Realoem under retro fittings. Use the last 7 of your VIN to pull up the correct model/year.

I picked mine up last night, I'm very impressed so far, the comfort seats are amazing.
the rear and wing mirror camera's are also really good, a lot better than I thought, definitely makes parking easier, the individual stereo is good but not worth the £1600 as an option and I've just found the remote control for the auxiliary heating, I didn't know it had that
I've had a look on the options brochure and it's got about £12500 of options on it only got a few pics as the weather has been rubbish today.

You’ve got the new car feeling as well[emoji3]
Shots never turn out as you want them.
Anyway nice pics. Glad your liking the car.
Next I think we won’t to give it our personal touch but gotta control the spending as not everything is really needed as you find out years down the line when you sell it.

I got a set of winter wheels with it aswell so hopefully i don't need to spend much more, but I will get the gearbox serviced and I've just ordered a boot liner.

Re: just bought an x5
Aux Heater is a pretty rare option as it was expensive to add. The E53 had it as standard but not the E70. I think it’s buried in one of the front wings, nice and convenient to get to when it needs servicing. Good spec

Where did you order the boot liner. Think I might need one.

Re: just bought an x5
Don't order the genuine bootliner like I did , I thought it was rubber (looked like it in the pics on ebay) but its cheap plastic ,I should read the description more carefully as it was clearly stated 65 quids worth lol !!!!!!!!! more like 17 though ...
I bought the genuine rubber mats and at least they looked a little bit more like the price tag and fitted nicely, I could get a nice set of beige rubber ones for the rear but non for the front so settled for black in the end.

No they haven’t. Have stone chips on rear plastic arches. One side looks as if it needs painting.
Let me know how much it costs to have them repainted as I’m thinking of doing that. As it spoils the look of the car when you get up close.
The paintwork is damaged near front of rear arch when you zoom in to photo you can see black stain.
I’m reassured you mention it as I thought the dealer had scuffed it a few days ago. It does look like a rash now you mention it.

Seems very common , will hopefully have a quote soon ,think I will just get the arches done not the sills ,will be a local painter where I take the arches too him to paint they fit them and get a local vinyl place to fit some clear after the paint hardens a bit .
I tried to replace a few missing plastic rivet on the front arch last night ,need 4 wrecked 9 trying ,think I will buy the correct tool as fitting without it seems impossible ,they are on but sure ain't right ) I was using a riveter but the jaws were too small and they broke too early, Maybe its because they are not genuine but I did see see a guy on youtube using vicegrips !
