stupid question , I've got my timing cover to swap soon , don't tell me I've to take the rocker cover off again?

To remove front timing cover you’ll have to remove rocker. Never tried it but I suppose you could undo bolts and lift front edge 1/2”  or less, don’t know how well it would reseal
