Mine does this on the drivers side only. No up and down movement just in and out.

Still chasing a slight motorway speed steering wheel wobble but not sure this would be the cause?

Is the wobble a constant pulsing of the wheel or more "road surface" dependent? Have you looked at the state of the front thrust arm bushes?

The "in/out" movement is normal and doesn't look excessive to me. It's there as the shaft has be able to change it's length as the suspension moves up and down.

I kinda thought as much especially when I tried the same earlier on my mates 2017 Nissan pick-up and I could almost get the same amount of clunk.
