Brake pads
Brake pads
Only had the car 5 months when I bought it the idrive said rears need replacing in 32000 and fronts 4500. I've done nearly 10000 miles in car , the fronts are saying 3500 miles and the rears need changing in 450 miles
Re: Brake pads
I have seen a lot of posts on this subject and Pagid brake pads come up a lot.
I used them on both of my bm's with no problems.

Re: Brake pads
I agree with Alan and look on Pelican parts for the ''HOW TO'', an American site ,but very good, remember they are LHD though.

Re: Brake pads
Thanks for your reply. The pads and wear indicator cost me £94 All in from BMW. How do they justify nearly £230 to fit them
Re: Brake pads
One hour for labour. Ours charges £220/hr +vat.
Been told that the major service on my X6 is £750 (inc MOT). I’ll check whether the folks in Milton Keynes that we have just found (owned and run by ex-BMW techies) can do any better. They only use genuine parts so slightly dearer, but their labour is £50 an hour.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
