Hi all,

After 9 years of ownership I've decided to part exchanged my 4.8iS for £3k. It's going on this Friday 10th August but in case anyone is interested and can offer better than £3k, feel free to get in touch. Based in Stourbridge, West Midlands and viewing is only possible afterwork I'm afraid.

Full Service History,
Last serviced on 8-Feb-2018 about 3000 miles ago.
Brand new Michelin tyres at the front
Almost brand new Toyo tyres at the rear
Gearbox oil/filter changed at 117k
Mileage currently stands at 119200
MOT until March 2019
Still under BMW insured warranty

Despite looking after it very well during 9 years of my ownership, there are some issues to note:
1. White smoke at sometimes, could be early signs of dreaded stem valve seals but a similar symptom was cured a few year ago by changing the diaphragms.
2. Scratches on both sides as well on boot tailgate, not fixable simply polishing/buffing
3. Someone viewing the car noticed wet edges of one of the under trays

I haven't had a chance to get 1 & 3 checked over.

Been debating the E70 myself but for the miles I do it's alot of CSR for not alot of use !

It's mind vs heart game, my friend!
I decided to sell my 4.8iS a few times over the last few years until I drove it the next time and changed my mind for another few months/year

I lost almost all of the purchase money on this car and spent another few £k on maintenance over the last 9 yrs but absolutely no regrets.  )
