Re: Throttle reset procedure
Sounds right.
You could also try IGN POS 1 as above.
Full throttle for 30 secs
Release throttle pedal
Start engine.
This only affects the throttle, not the gearbox - that needs a computer plugged in to do.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Reset the "throttle" to do what? Or why are you trying to reset the throttle? Have you done work in that area and replaced parts?

Re: Throttle reset procedure
If you do a throttle reset, you wipe out the info the car has remembered about your driving habits.
It will relearn and remember how YOU drive.

Re: Throttle reset procedure
Hi Lez, yes agreed.. it forgets, but it also give all the throddle pedal use again, sharpens the response & give loads more available power.
I need the reset, as I do a lot of boring motorway miles & the car learns this, de-sensitises the pedal & loses about 25% of the available power... which is a bloody nuisance when I need some urge at junctions, as the car decides Im leading a funeral procession & becomes lazy.
