Got a Red Tyre icon on the dash cluster come on since blowing up the tyres a few days ago.
Pressing the matching button on the center console nothing happens.

You have to be moving at walking pace whilst doing the reset. It should go yellow and then off, but may take a few seconds and you have to keep the button pressed. The system uses wheel speed data from the ABS sensors to calibrate the correct rotation differences between an inflated and going soft tyre.
Sometimes you need to drive at around 20mph to get the system to reset. Our E46 did this just a couple of weeks back.
Only the V8s and much later models with pressure sensors in each wheel work when stationary.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
